My Dream

Dear Reader

I am a returning student in pursuit of an MBA through Strayer University online. I have been attending since January 2005, and have studied hard, earned excellent grades and now face loosing it all resulting from current economic crunch and crisis.

I am sure you are asking why do I not get a job? I have tried too no avail, given I am disabled and often passed over for younger talent and more able bodied persons. Do I deserve this no? What is so disabling, that  I cannot find work, even at Mac Donalds? I am blind, age 55 and female, yes qualifying in 3 catagories, and yet considered unqualified by current employers.

I am now coming to the public to seek assistance and help me to achieve my goals and aspirations to allow me once again to engage in functional employment. I am trying to raise funds at this time to establish my own business, so I cannot be turned down for a job. I will be graduating in December and currently hold a 4.0 GPA.  If you have ever had a dream and watched others ignore and refuse to believe in your ability then I beseech you to help turn the trend and help me to help my-self.

I need to raise a total of $25,000 and so far I have been able to save $200 towards that goal since the only income I have is SSDI - $808 each month. I have tried for loans, grants and nothing has come forth. So please know that now I am mustering my last ounce of pride and coming to the people asking for help in the name of humanity. I you believe and can help me achieve my dream it will not go unrewarded.
